Sacred Games is an Indian produced crime thriller series on Netflix. It has two seasons, each with eight episodes, and debuted in 2018. The show tells the story of Sartaj Singh, a Mumbai police inspector fed up with the corruption in his department. He gets a phone call from Ganesh Gaitonde, an infamous gangster who hasn't been seen in 16 years. Gaitonde warns Singh that he has 25 days to save the city. The show follows Sartaj's investigation into the city's criminal underworld, along with flashbacks to Ganesh's rise to becoming the crime lord of Bombay.
